MY 5 FAVORITE PODCASTS
During my freshman year of college, I took a course on how to create and edit a podcast, so one day, I went into the app and picked out a few to listen to. Quickly, I got hooked and now I do my best to listen to one every couple days. I don't have a particular genre I stick to, since I like them all.
Podcasts are the newest hype in the world of blogging and honestly, I think it's so cool. It's like sitting right there with the speaker at the table. I love it. And without further adieu, here are my top 5 favorite podcasts.
1. Aubrey Marcus Podcast
This one is a specific episode called "#77 Jonathan Toews - Consciousness is Optimization". This podcast was the very first podcast that I listened to and it's the reason I started listening to podcasts. Obviously, I like hockey and if you don't know, Jonathan Toews is the captain of the Chicago Blackhawks. Essentially, Marcus' podcast focuses on life, wellness, fitness, business, and more with guests on almost every episode. I don't want to spoil the episode for you, but I highly recommend giving it a listen.
2. We Heard What
I love this podcast!!! This is by the blogger, Danielle Bernstein of @WeWoreWhat, who I've been following for over 4 years now. Each episode is different from the last with topics ranging from health, fashion, business, hair, and has guests from every field each episode. It gets real and personal with this podcast.
3. True Crime All The Time
I LOVE any type of murder mystery and moving on from TV shows to podcasts really enhances the way I think about them. Not having a visual makes the crime that much more interesting.
4. Curious with JT Barnett
This is a fairly new podcast that I started to listen to because I have been following JT on Instagram for just over a year now. He's a professional hockey player in Europe and always has the most motivating and inspirational posts on Instagram, and his podcast is no different. I'm really looking forward to how this podcast grows.
5. The Glossy Podcast
Business, fashion, luxury, and what it takes to make it in that world. What else could I ask for?
