Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in style, travel, and food. Hope you have a nice stay!

The last three years have flown by. I literally mean that. I remember being on a bridge in downtown Chicago taking my very first blog photos. Now, here I am writing about the third anniversary of creating my blog. I can't believe it.

These photos were my first blog photos. Can you believe that I thought that outfit was perfect for the shoot? And those shoes - so ugly!

Last year, I rebranded myself again. If you're new here, I didn't always call my blog Blonde Damsel. It's been a mix of words that I came up with on a whim and hated a few months after I changed it. This is the first name that really stuck with me and that I love. I'm not going to elaborate on it, since I've written a post about my new name, which you can read here

This post is reminiscing on the last year of my website. If you read that post, I mentioned change and more focus that would be happening on this website. Of course, life happens, as we all know, and none of that change really happened. I won't lie, it kind of sucks to look back on that post and see that I made little to no progress in incorporating what I really want this blog to be about. I had such great things planned but was too apprehensive to move on with them.

I love this blog, I really do. It's my pride and joy and thinking about it takes up a majority of my day. It's just...when you lose your inspiration, it's hard to get back up again and keep going. And on top of losing inspiration, it's easy to get caught up in the numbers and lose sight of your goal in the end. Insert dramatic sigh. It 's not about the numbers and I know that. I'm learning it.

But to pick things up again and put them in a more positive note, I am dedicating the next year to turning Blonde Damsel into what I want. I love my blog like I said, and I want it to be the best it can be. I'm going all in and I'm going to re-fall in love with my blog like I was when I created it three years ago today. I'm going to do more

So here's to the next year and thank you for sticking with me!!!!
