For the first post in my "Life" tab, I thought I might do a food post and hop on the avocado bandwagon. Is it just me or are all bloggers overly obsessed with it? Anyway, I have never been a real fan of this green super-fruit UNTIL I tried this amazing smoothie. Blueberries are my favorite and mixing them together is truly life-changing, even for someone who doesn't like avocados. Plus, it's healthy.

Though I cannot take credit for this amazing recipe, I have added a few of my own small details to the original recipe I found on Pinterest. I hope you guys love this smoothie as much as I have and let me know if you added any of your own special touches!


1 avocado

2 cups of frozen blueberries

1 sweetener {I used only 1/2 of a pack of Sweet & Low}

1/8 tsp of vanilla

6 oz of blueberry Greek yogurt {Chobani is the BEST}

1/2 cup of ice or 4 ice cubes

1 cup of milk or water {I used 1/2% milk}


There are no strict instructions to making a smoothie - be sure to use a blender - and mix it for 5-7 minutes for the best smooth-level.
